Body Description:	The Community Services Industry (Portable Long Service Industry) Authority is a Body Corporate and is empowered under the Community Services Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2020 to provide an equitable and efficient system of portable long service leave for workers in the community services industry in Queensland. The Authority also gives advice and makes recommendations to the Minister charged with the administration of the Act with regard to issues affecting the provisions of long service leave in the industry and the operations of the Act. The Authority is overseen by a board of directors which ensures the Authority performs its functions in an appropriate effective and efficient manner and provides advice to the Minister.
