    Body Description: Functions of the Regulator are listed in section 152 of the WHS Act 2011 including to advise and make recommendations to the Minister and report on the operation and effectiveness of this Act, to monitor and enforce compliance with this Act, to provide advice and information on work health and safety to duty holders under this Act and to the community, and to promote and support education and training on matters relating to work health and safety. Under section 237 of the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 other functions of the Regulator include the workers' compensation scheme, monitor the compliance of insurers with the Act, monitor the performance of insurers under the Act, including the consistent application of the Act, decide applications relating to self-insurance and approve amounts payable under an industrial instrument for the purpose of section 107B.
